Last week, Cygnet announced the end of Ugly Duckling; this week, he launches the Digital Minifigure Customization Flickr group, an online space to share and discuss the use of digital imaging to make custom minifigs. Just a few days old, the membership’s small but the discussions are mighty. Alright, that’s a little self-serving, since most of the conversations thus far are between Cygnet, Morgan190 (not sure when Morgan went from “19″ to “190″…exponential growth is cool), and yours truly. But in all seriousness, there are some great ideas and techniques being bandied about. Check it out by clicking the image above and joining the conversation.

LOL. I’m still Morgan19, but there was a Morgan19 user on Flickr before I’d signed up so I had to improvise to Morgan190.

Ahhh. I think you should go Morgan1900 for a month and just do cool turn-of-the-century / Steampunk figs.
Great discussion on the Digital Minifig Customization group! Thanks for all the insight.
Your comment about that actually made me finally get off my butt and email that other Morgan19… She apparently joined Flickr back in 2006 but doesn’t have any photos; I’m seeing if she’d be willing to change her username so I can commandeer the proper one.
